Melancholia
One year before the premiere, the artistic team behind Fanny och Alexander is warming up with the operatic adaptation of another Scandinavian film classic. In October 2023, they will create Melancholia, based on Lars von Trier's cult hit. The first workshop with the Royal Swedish orchestra already offers us a fascinating introduction to composer Mikael Karlsson and his musical language.
