President jury Queen Elisabeth Competition
Anyone interested in the Belgian and international musical landscape of the past three decades cannot get around Bernard Foccroulle. Besides being a composer, the man from Liège is not only a world authority as an organist - with complete recordings of the organ works of Bach and Buxtehude - he is also a teacher, writer, and former director of La Monnaie, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and Opera Europa. To that record he also recently added the jury chairmanship of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. In the run-up to the prestigious concours, RTBF visited the coryphée for a video report.
